The Bund Deutscher Faustkämpfer e.V. (German Boxing Federation) aims to bring together boxing enthusiasts in the Federal Republic of Germany and to promote the sport of boxing. It acts with social and political responsibility and conducts its activities with a strong emphasis on the principles of sportsmanship. Additionally, the Bund Deutscher Faustkämpfer (hereinafter referred to as BDF) uses the English translation "German Boxing Federation" (GBF).
The BDF is a registered association based in Halle-Saale and extends its activities to the entire federal territory as well as abroad. It is registered in the appropriate association register.
The BDF represents the interests of its members in technical, sporting, and administrative matters. It grants permission to its affiliated professional boxers and license holders to engage in activities requiring a license at events in the federal territory and abroad.
