BDF VS. BoxRec
For 4 years, Dr. Sheppard (BoxRec) has been trying to push our association out of the market. The reason for this, this woman seems not to know herself. In my initial inquiry, she told me to ask our former Vice President, Artur Ellensohn, yet he is also not aware of any wrongdoing, which I believe. I received this response repeatedly, and a few months ago, I tried again. After hiding my phone number, I even reached her by phone. Here she told me that we don't need a third association in Germany, which I cannot understand at all, as it also exists in other countries with far fewer inhabitants than we have in Germany. Two weeks ago, I contacted her again by phone. Of course, she tried to end the conversation as quickly as possible once more. This time, her statement was that our association demands too little from the promoters. Now I ask you, what kind of excuses are these? It is absolutely none of this woman's business what the associations require from their members. Is money involved here??? Anyway, we will not allow ourselves to be bullied by this woman. Even without BoxRec, we have gained new members who are not dependent on this database. But it is not only the BDF that is affected by this; we are in contact with other associations such as those in England and the USA who have the same problem with this woman. Together, we will take action against BoxRec. We will regularly report here on the future of BoxRec.
